Another ranking issue. In Risk vs. Reward, the 9, 10, 11 slots are:
9 Chronos 2 1 1 24 Feb 2010 50% 2.5 1 1063
10 skms 1 1 0 01 Mar 2010 100% 4.0 0 1061
11 cavaelen 1 1 0 09 Apr 2010 100% 4.0 1 1061
The 10th and 11th are equal, but only the 11th has a championship point.
I think in that case, the tie-breaker is based on Global Ranking or Global G Rating (I forget which). It looks like cavaelen is slightly higher in both. I agree, though, that in that case cavaelen should be ranked #10.

Says only 104 games, but I assume that's only on version 2.0, or at least the Games List is way longer.
seemed to work ok for my CoD board when i upped the version...

Ya, that's why I had to add the "always?" in there :P I didn't understand why yours worked but others haven't (like Castles, Spy vs Spy, Europe 1560, and others I'm guessing).

I think that when you create a new version of a board any game played on the old board after you created the new version counts toward the games on the new version but any games played before you created the version wont count toward the number of games. so basically it doesn't matter when you promote a version of a board to live it only counts when you created the version...if that makes sence
It should copy them over from the old board when you promote to Live... I'll check it out.

Tie breaker is first by G Rating, if those are the same then it goes by Last Game Played, so Cavaelen should be at 10 I believe, that one looks like a display issue (since it shows that Cav has the 1 CP)
Where as currently here on Global Warfare http://www.wargear.net/boards/view/Global%20Warfare/Rankings I'm at #6 with the 4 CP and Norseman is at #7 with the 6 CP, so that looks like more than just a display issue:
5 | Toto | 190 | 87 | 103 | 31 Mar 2010 | 46% | 1.4 | 8 | 1598
6 | Yertle | 40 | 21 | 19 | 13 Apr 2010 | 53% | 1.7 | 4 | 1527
7 | Norseman | 50 | 23 | 27 | 21 Mar 2010 | 46% | 1.7 | 6 | 1527
8 | paulharrow | 56 | 29 | 27 | 15 Mar 2010 | 52% | 1.6 | 3 | 1509 |
OK this was a combination of two things - actually Norseman has a higher G rating than you (I added an extra place after the decimal point to show this) so the points allocation is correct.
However the rankings page wasn't sorting by g rating / last played in the event of a tied score so that's why you appeared below Norseman.
So in other words, sorry you're not owed any more points :)
Booo! But I'm good with that :D
Why do some of my games on my My Game page have a closed box at the far right and some of them don't?
Also, why does flamable and inflamable mean the same thing. I'll hang up and listen for my answer.

I've wondered that too (seen it on the Home Open games list too)
They mean the same in the sense that all random combinations of letters that aren't words mean the same thing.
Inflammable and flammable on the other hand...
Consider yourself inflamed.

You mean the hide 'x' icon? Or something else?

I think what they're talking about is this:

Yep!
Weird. In IO 2850 or whatever
http://www.wargear.net/games/player/14602
attacking from land to an ice field which is a -1 defense modified attack. When I select my country and the target country, at the bottom of the attack box (where you choose 1, 2, 3, T or A) it correctly shows 'd6 vs d5'. But after I roll once and the box comes back up - now it shows 'd5 vs d6'. Although I think it's just a display issue. It's a strange one.
Not sure this is a bug, but when browsing through boards, if I open a particular board's About page, the field labeled "Games Played" doesn't seem to match the total number of games listed in the Games List tab. Anybody know why that is?

Post 240 and 246 in this thread relate to this.
*edit* In addition, I think the Games Played may even record other games not in the Games List (when working correctly), ie Private Dev games I believe are captured, dunno about simply Private games though.
It's strange because sometimes the About records a lower number of games than the Games List total (e.g. http://www.wargear.net/boards/view/Ancient%20Isles%20of%20Kjeldor/About, 120 vs. 302), but sometimes it's the opposite (e.g. http://www.wargear.net/boards/view/Duck%20Hunt/About, 154 vs. 127)
Correct, when it's less I believe it's due to Versioning, when it's more I believe it's because it's counting Private Dev games.
