Has been fixed.
i let it pas the first time thinking things just got confused. but this is the second time, so it's repeatable. i clicked on the 'reply' button on a secret message in game and ended up with this:

Very weird. This happens every time you click on the Reply link?
not now :^S. will try again from work (where i noticed it - at home now).
In the KOTM review game:
http://www.wargear.net/games/view/16238
the design page reads: "Grant 0 bonus per x territories owned." the bonus multiplier is set at zero (I can't seem to change it to 1). Yet folks seem to be getting their 1 for 3 bonus as intended. Is this a bug? If not, then what does the multiplier do? Surely I shoudn't leave it at zero?

I've read them but I can't figure them out. Here are the two settings in the designer:
Bonus Multiplier -> [Drop down box]
Grant a bonus unit per bonus multiplier territories -> [Drop down box]
The first drop down box is defaulted to... blank, not zero, just blank. The other options are all numbers 1 to 100.
The second drop down box has "Disabled" as an option, and the rest are numbers 1 through 10.
I have no idea what either of these settings mean. Can these settings be renamed so that they give a better description of what they are?
Right now my head would think.. ok, if I set Bonus Multiplier to say, 5, then the next setting becomes Grant bonus unit per 5 territories: ... which almost makes sense, except that I can select 10 for that? Huh?
If Bonus Multiplier (maybe call it Per X Territories Bonus Multiplier) is set to 5, then the next setting should become "Grant 5 bonus units per X territories" and you are setting X.
Thanks Yertle. How about combining them into a sentence:
Award [drop-down] bonus units for every [drop-down] territories.
Change first drop down default to 1, and change 'disabled' in the second to 'infinity' to keep it consistent.

+1, but I would prefer 3 instead of infinity.. After all, this is the "standard" and min is set for a default of 3, isn't it?
I concur with M57, default is 3, at least that's what I consider default, there isn't that concept in the board game Risk is there?
No, this is new idea. I think it came out of spies where the low units make for unlikely events to happen and we wanted to see what would happen with close to perfect odds. This idea came from one of those discussions (Mongrel, I think, but I am not sure). Once the idea came about, it seemed like something that would be useful and easy to implement.
I'm pretty sure standard Risk rules give you 1 bonus unit for every 3 territories owned?
But not 2 units per every 3 territories.
Designer:
Award [drop down] bonus unit(s) for every [drop-down] territories occupied
Default:
Award 1 bonus unit(s) for every 3 territories occupied.
This is per the original game..
I like how you put unit(s). I almost edited my post to put the (s) in but was too lazy =]
And yeah default on second should be 3, I dunno if it is or not cause the only board I have in the designer is one where I changed it already.
BTW when I said "change 'disabled' in the second to 'infinity' to keep it consistent" I didn't mean set infinity as the default.
On the page that shows recent forum posts:

The Forum column table cells are closed with a TH instead of a TD tag.
How did you find that one?
Workin' on a google chrome version of the turn poller, copied out a forum thread row to use as a template, did a find/replace on the TD tags and wound up with an odd number.
Well, you did ask. =]
That explains the sometimes strange look of the right side of the table. Wow.
just curious. thanks.
