Hmmmm, this is clever - Neutral, although I do hope I don't ever play any games with him in which he is Grey .
Not THAT clever. Neutral neutral isn't listed in the player info, so it'd be hard to see how he could really cause any confusion.
In the tooltips his player name would be the same as Neutral neutral.
Ooooh, that is clever.
We could solve the neutral color problem forever by giving neutral territories a custom (and unique) font color. The neutral gray color plus like a purple or dark red font color would stand out well enough, I think.
That would also help with some of the issues in other boards where the neutral gray and a player gray are very close. Sounds good to me...
Wonder if he gets to cheat like Neutral Neutral?
Font color as been requested to be customizable for player colors in the board designer, so if that was implemented then it wouldn't stay solved. At one time there was the idea of Neutrals being textured in some way or another (texture or have lines), but not even sure if that would work with Dual Layers/Fog images anymore.
How about if neutrals had a black and white flashing color, a .gif image would work as a tile, with neon green font?
I just joking 'cause that would be awful to look at.

I'd recommend against this. Players might get "creative" and pick colors that blend too well, if not perfectly.

This would be a Board designer setting, not per player/game.
What if you just change the tool-tip "Neutral" text to be italicized?
Neutral
or toss some brackets on it?:
[Neutral]
both?:
[Neutral]
All of these solutions seem way too complicated to counter the action of a player that was almost certainly intended to abuse the system. Why not just disallow "Neutral" as a username?
It is disabled now since someone has it. My hopes is that he becomes the 2nd most prolific player on the site behind MegaBoobsMcGee because I want that name to be at the top of the rankings list.
How did you find out about my other account? =/

Right, I meant that the player should be forced to change usernames and thereafter the username "Neutral" shouldn't be allowed.
How about Neutral' or "Neutral" or Neutral` or Neutral. or Nuetral (that's how 11s spells it)
:P
..or as Elmer Fudd would have it, "Newtwal"
It might not confuse most, but then for some of the cartoon characters that play around here..
Yup, 9 times outa 10 I spell it nuetral.*
Who wants to bet money on how long it takes for the first 'OMG look at this game Neutral attacked me WTF!?' post?
* My brain also refuses to learn how to spell rediculous, wierd, and definetely.
weird is hard to spell. I also really dislike spelling the color grey.
