Now that WF is down I have like 5 people getting antsy and nosing around for a new site to play on.  Three would wind up being paying customers.  The objections so far are no tournament system, but they seem satisfied as to the eventual introduction of that.  The other objection is the lack of the extended world map, you know, the one with thre regular map but with the continents broken up into smaller bonus areas.

So anyone want to volunteer to make that one? I know it's like oatbran to most of you guys but it's an insanely popular map.  We already have 3 regular Risk clones so why not this one?

I think Cram has started work on a HUGE world map, and I think I've seen a pretty nice World map in the Board Designer before (but dunno who was making it or if they planned on releasing it).

I wouldn't mind working on one (I don't have anything lined up to work on next yet), but don't want to step on anyone else's designs or would want to separate them enough to justify them.

This weekend looks to be the first in a long time where I'll have some free hours. I plan to fix up Castles per requests and then I'll finish building this bad-boy.

If there's time, I'll make a tweak or two to 1776 and run it through another round of testing.

I'm also working on one, but its a little different than cram's.

yeah and cram's board is another example of the reason i lost motivation on creating a board...

well i didn't want to give you a bigger head than you already got. yes you've got a 3 or 4 good ones (duck hunt, gauntlet, notebook, and possibly smurfs). i used to like fish/gear wars, but got tired of it pretty quick. still holding judgement on belgariad as i haven't played enough on it yet...

Convert to dual. That's one reason its not out yet. I was mostly done back before dual layer came along, but wanted to save it for that. Then work, etc. spun out of control and I went all Steven on the place.

Do you have any plans to add in Hawaii and those 2-3 northern russian territories that stick out the top? I guess Hawaii more so because that's a major tactical change eliminating that border to japan. I don't care either way, I just got asked.
