Ok, so back to the issue of why tournaments are taking so long to fill up, would it be possible, rather than having a separate tab (or maybe in addition), having open tournaments on the Home screen? Perhaps cutting it in half, one side for open games and one side for open tournaments. Perhaps have the default option to show both on the Home page and an option to hide tournaments on the Home page and still access them from the tab.
Just a thought. I want to start tournaments but seeing my maps open with nobody joining makes me sad. Everyday I see that the Gauntlet Tourny has the same number of people in it makes me die a little in side. I'm losing my youthful exuberance.

Wouldn't it be nice to have a tournament format that could handle 16 - or even as low as 8 players? (Of course, they would have smaller trophies).

I agree, I really want that Gauntlet one to start. I really like the trophy too! :(

One player says he has the same opponent in rounds 1 and 3. What's the opponent selection logic like?

Rollie surrendered in the first round, so shows as red on the games layout page in THAT game. In game 2, his opponent is in green but he's still in white. Is this as intended? I'd suggest something like a darker red for surrenders.

Seems like that's a possibility with the Swiss System isn't it?

In Swiss system it's possible to have the same opponents in more than one game but it's supposed to be avoided if at all possible. I think I need to tweak the algorithm to make this less likely to happen.

That's kinda what I thought. You can take a peek at that tourney if you like to see if something went wrong or it's just unavoidable repetition.

My gauntlet tourney has two people in it that do not have profile pictures. One of them, Seige07, seems to be fairly active. The other, however, Justin 321, seems to have not logged in since he joined. I don't know if this happened before you made that restriction, but I was hoping you could at least remove Justin (and see if Seige wants to add a profile pic).

Why does it matter if people have a profile pic or not?

Because tom implemented a rule that only allows people who have a profile picture uploaded to join tournaments. The reasoning being that someone who has bothered to do so is probably not playing their first game, and is less likely to walk away when they discover Wargear isn't what they thought it is. Makes sense to me.

Plus it looks cool on the tourney join page if everyone has profile pics :)
