This option should now be available on the front page of the designer.
I'd like to volunteer for the new Player BETA.
New player lists all bonuses, old one would truncate after a certain number...
Displays all transparencies with striped lines. Yuk.
The Board Designer tool is still in Flash right? Will that remain for the foreseeable future?
Yertle wrote:For Border/Continent Info, how about adding a simple button/link that opens the Board Explorer as on the Board Page ( ie http://www.wargear.net/boards/view/World+War/Board%20Explorer ) in a new window? Same for Rules probably.
Also can it show Territory Names like the Flash version has?
Good idea.
Territory names are already shown on mouse hover. Or do you mean the button to display all of them at once?

Which browser + version are you using? This shouldn't happen.

Yes, for the foreseeable. As most board design I expect will stay on a PC / Mac there's not such a strong driver to move to a non-Flash solution.

Button to display all of them at once. It makes it easier to find when someone says to attack T1, good help for designers as well (as finding the territories after I named them was always a frustration :P)
The bug affecting some Single Layer maps (e.g. Notebook Paper Dungeon) and the Cards bug should both now be fixed.
This board isn't filling right: http://www.wargear.net/games/playerjs/138389
There used to be a Help button for the keyboard shortcut functions right? That was kind of useful.
I think the shortcut for Esc (0) for the Transfer window is missing.

Steps to reproduce problem The territory fill didn't seem to be working at all, territories just displayed as circles with the gray hashed wargear background showing through on the rest of the fill area.
EDIT: Noticed Ratsy is having a similar problem in post #24

It's showing 0's in fogged areas through the fog layer. It only shows the number in vacant neutral territories. On the brightside, I know where everyone else is.
I don't like how the attack window doesn't have the X to close it. I don't know if this is by design but when attacking and then I decide to stop attacking I have to hit ESC on the keyboard to get rid of the attack window.
Oh, and the messages are still not there and I can't add any.
I have a side-by-side screenshot of how the Beta player displays compared to the normal flash player for this game: http://www.wargear.net/games/playerjs/144632, but I can't figure out how to post it on the forum...

- card button appears highlit when only 2 cards. should only be highlit if have matching set (or if as is, change the color from blue to something, red?, when a match).
- apply doesn't highlight when all units have been placed
- territory mouseovers have a ' - 0' after the occupant's name
- border mouseovers not showing up (did we ever decide how to display border info when in circle mode?)
- attack screen doesn't have an 'x' to close when you decide you want to stop attacking. only way to get out is to hit Esc (going to need the 'x' for mobile platforms)

this game doesn't load correctly - still looks like fog image on top:

- this one also doesn't load correctly, but in a different way. pipe territories show up, but hubs are invisible until you place a unit

full editor - image upload button on bottom left on entry screen (just to left of reply button)
There we go, thanks WT! This is what I see running XP and Firefox 11.0
I know it was mentioned earlier that the new player works well with Chrome 20, but the only version I can find to download is 18 (from download.com). How can I get Chrome 20 so I can test out the player?
