GENKIWI is LORD_EDGAR. was him.
Dude..............what are you talking about. Be a man and own up!
Agreed thanks again Genkiwi - both have been banned. Games will be terminated / booted as appropriate.
Does anyone know if it is possible just to supply two names for Admin to look into without any really strong proof? Can they just check the IP address. I have two names that I think might be cheating, though it does not seem as blatant during game play as the others I have exposed. However their last visits have often been the exact time or within minutes of one another, and they joined wargear on the exact same day, and they appear in 80 % of games together!
Maybe I think I am more cleaver than I really am lol
Sure, ping them to me [email protected] and I'll take a look.
Should we be thinking about ways to prevent this from happening in future? That is, be proactive instead of reactive?
I was thinking about that this afternoon... I think it would be quite easy to add checks so that if matching IPs are found for two players in a game it gets flagged for review.

i said to him he was cheating b4 i even seen this, i came on here to post that he was cheating and i seen this.
funny thing is i played them and it was just 3 of us and i still beat him 2v1 looooooool
laugh out out out out out out out out loud?
ASHM allying with VITO, from starters pistol?
Draw and 111-th them.
We should keep a tally of offenders, then announce it to people who join. Until that number is intimidatingly large, we should post an arbitrarily large number to show we mean business.
4890 total registrations, 4890000000 members booted for cheating.
Don't F*** with us.
..that's a helluva lot of quarters.
What does flagged for Review entail? Will the game be locked until further review? I occasionally have some friends come visit from out of town and we will pass around a laptop while logging in and out to take our turns. I would think it would be obvious that the games are legit due to the gameplay, but it would be irritating if the games were paused or put on hold.
Passing around the laptop, huh? I tell ya' ..Kids these days. I hope you're all using some kind of protection.
I say flag 'em and bag 'em.
Seriously,..you can probably tell that the criteria for cheating is pretty high, with the onus of proof placed on the dooter. I'm sure the eventual process will be pretty rigorous here, and if someone's activity is borderline, they should be given an opportunity to defend themselves.
What we've been finding so far is blatant cheating. Really, there's no good defense for the kind of activity we're talking about here.
Maybe we should have a doot committee.

You play public games like that? Just curious because I assume private games wouldn't be flagged at all.
I would think Flagged for Review means it's easier for tom (and/or whoever) to look through a player's gamelog to see if they are in that list. I wouldn't think that it would pause or stop a game in progress.
Private games don't count towards stats?

They count towards Private games stats. They don't count towards Global Ranking or Board Championship rankings (anything on the main Rankings tab)
Well then, that pretty much settles it. No worries if it's a private game. Good to know.
Not that real life friends/family/co-workers can't play in public games together (which may mean games get "Flagged"). I think that is fine, as long as there isn't the abuse and ever/always preconceived alliances.
I would certainly be worried about:
conflict or interests:
reviewers by necessity would have to see everything (to see if these were alliance games or if there was an unsaid alliance, i.e. be able to see private messages which is now negated as the chat system has been introduced). They would also need to be able to see through fog to see how the players played. I guess all of this analysis would be able to be done at the conclusion of the game so it wouldn't be likely for there to be any issues with this concern.
premature boots: In the case where cheating is suspected (unlike the two "without a doubt" cases), there would need to be some warning and follow-up procedures in place.
I have listed ashm and VITO as enemies. We won't see them on any game I host.
