What about changing the color scheme of the phases to Green, Yellow and Red, where Place is Green if you can return to it after you place, and red if you can't. Attack is green when unlimited, yellow when limited and have attacks remaining, and red when there are no attacks. Fortify would be yellow if you can't return to attack afterwards and green if you can, and end turn is red. There may have to be variation, but the idea is so you can tell the rules by the color coding.

Maybe also a turn indicator on the player, there's no way to tell whose turn it is when the board is loaded.
That'd be nice. It does minorly bug me when I am the last player to join a game and it says "the game is now started" but there's no indication of whose turn it is
It would be nice to take the lines out of the whole equation. almost any board with "fortify to any connected/all" ends up looking messy and alot of the time the lines completely cover territories. The idea of having the boarders highlighted differently is a smart idea.

I'm not sure if this is the right thread to make this suggestion since I'm not familiar with what all the flash player can do, so feel free to move it or correct me as needed.
Would it be possible to enable clicking on a player's bonus in the Continent Bonus column and have it take you directly to the Board tab with that bonus displayed? Or maybe when you hover over a bonus listed in the Continent Bonus column to have the bonus temporarily shown on the map?
It's a good idea but I'm not 100% sure how to do it at present, would mean changing the way the continents are displayed in the bonus area. I agree it would be a definite usability improvement.
I think I used to be able to see vision-only borders in the player, but after some changes a month or two ago, I can now only see attack and artillery borders. Maybe "Vision" could be one of the options to select when viewing the board design via the player?

Could you make it so that when it's not your turn, the player blends with map view and allows you to click to see borders and continents (but only the continents that contain the territory selected?)
