Fixed now - tournament stats were being calculated twice.

Speaking of quiting a tournament. The placement of the Leave Tournament/Quit Tournamnet button is somewhat dangerous. It sits right above all of those tabs that I like to click around on. Is it possible to move that, perhaps to the right side of the screen

Just a random thought.. since you give out a trial membership, is there some way we could choose to limit access to our tourney based on members who have taken the time to upload a profile picture?

Also, what is the rationale behind not counting tourney games towards your normal game rankings?

And finally, this is not important, but it would be cool if on the Rounds page of the tourney, the finished games were slightly greyed out and the active games were a bit brighter.

Agreed. I don't see the need for a separate set of statistics.

The main reason was tournaments where more than one player (or team) advance per game. In such situations it's reasonable to play for second place, in which case you probably wouldn't want to have it calculated towards your general stats.

Overall the opinion on the original tournament discussion thread was that it might be good to have as an option that tournament games counted the same as regular games but this was not the default.

If the general opinion is that there should be no separation then I'm happy to go with that.

I somewhat agree with you here Tom, but "playing for second" is still "playing to lose." If you're not the last player to survive a game then you lost that individual contest, regardless of the future repercussions you were planning on.


On a similar note though, I do believe that placing second place (overall) in a tournament is fairly impressive and would like to see multiple trophy options (or at least stats) to award players accordingly.

The way I see it, playing for second place is playing for your tournament score, not necessarily the score for an individual board. Thus, there's no reason to separate them imo. As was mentioned, playing for second is not playing to win.

Also, 2 things:
1) I'm still having some problems hiding tournaments (clicking the X and nothing happens).
2) Could we get a message indicator on the tournaments page like there is for the My Games page?

As the Greatest Tournament Player in the HISTORY OF WARGEAR I would just like to say that I don't really care either way.

Out of curiosity, what if all of the players in a tournament game vote to terminate it? It doesn't seem like it should be a valid outcome.
