This is a good idea. I wouldn't use it, but I know many who would.

    e^ix=cos x + i*sin x. Tell your friends.

Forgive my ignorance but what does an RSS feed allow you to do?  I've scoured the literature (i.e. Wikipedia) but still dont' have a clear picture...

You need an RSS reader of some sort which displays the messages from your various feeds.  I think most modern OSs can put a widget on the desktop that lists all your rss feeds, or there are a lot of websites that will allow you to display all your RSS feeds.  I think google & yahoo both offer something like that.  There are probably also dedicated RSS readers but I've never used one.

This might help pick one out:

I'm with Attila.  Don't really understand what RSS is, much less what aggregators do, though they sound quite vicious, and I don't know why I'd want them to have access to my "feeds", especially when they get hungry.

OK, I just read the Wikipedia article, and it seems like it could be some kind of real-time ticker tape going along the bottom of your browser that's tuned into content to which you have subscribed.  But if that were true, I don't understand how it could have audio and video components. That would detract from whatever I'm actively working on.

It should be possible to play WG boards in real-time ..without the wait, regardless of how many are playing.

So to the OP's comment, what would an RSS feed of active games look like?

I've added this to the feature tracking list. What RSS channels do you think there should be?

ToS had an RSS feed option and I used it for awhile but it never really did what I wanted it to do.  Basically all I want is the ability to know when it is my turn without emails and while not on the site itself.  I can do this with the 11's Turn Poller and also keeping WG open in another tab and having the Growl on.  Either way works for me.

My favorite thing would be if the Turns Waiting number could be added to the tab like when I have notifications on FB, or emails in GMail or Tweets in Twitter.  Basically I want tom to make WG more like those other things, take the site public, make millions of dollars off the original IPO, cut me in because this site wouldn't be the same without me and then make a movie about how he screwed over the Winklevoss Twins and their Sock Slider idea!
