I'm not sure why this board has become somewhat of a classic., but I have to admit that graphically it has a "je ne sais quoi" that forces me to rate it higher than I would normally justify. Border colors meld into each other (I should be complaining about this), but in a way that doesn't confuse things enough to make make me criticize it as a design flaw, and it has territories that are way too teeny-tiny for my aged eyes.
Bacame my favorite board on WarGear first time I played it. Border colors could use a little more definition, but on the flip side it works well as enemies dont always see how to take your bonuses away. :)
Excellent graphics with Risk gameplay. Board holds a good amount of players, although when getting low there can be some stacks of troops sitting around. Definitely a must play for all WarGear players!
Again beautifully wonderful graphics and layout! Superbly done!
Absolutely one of the best maps on WarGear. Relatively large board with a lot of continents. Risk expanded. Somehow it seems to get rather "comfortable" when only 3-4 players are left in the games I have played. A nice feature is that the card set values wrap around so the cards don't get too out of control.
My all-time favorite Risk board thus far besides Earth Reversed. This board incorporates all of the traditional elements of Risk (owning a continent and vying for ownership of others, eliminating players for cards, and so forth) while opening up new opportunites to own land; expect six players to each have their own continent and "comfortable" borders. Well-done, creator!
absolutely great map. not sure what people are complaining about with the borders, its all pretty obvious to me. very fun update to standard risk board.
Yet I find myself coming back to play this board.
