Here's a bug with the player... When I clicked the A to transfer all from the 2 brick to the 20 brick (I'm cyan, in the upper left), most transferred but I was left with the 2 instead of 1. I stopped right after I transferred, so this is the result. Game: http://www.wargear.net/games/player/5104
I think I've noticed this once before... Not sure what's up. Thanks!
That board has a max territory unit count of 20. You're welcome.

*smacks forehead* Thanks...
For some reason the Quickpick thing doesn't always work for all the people I have listed there. I click on 7 people and only 3 are added to the game. I try and try but then I notice that some people get a little line under them when I mouse over them and some don't and the ones that don't won't let me select them. Is there a reason for this and is it because these people don't want to play my game and wargear.net knows that in advance? Is there a complicate AI at work here trying to get only certain people to go through the pain of RiskyTesting?
What browser is this Risky? And which names work and which don't?
I use Firefox version 3.5.6 and it changes every time I try. Sometimes if I just close the window and open it again those people will be available.
I know it happens with:
Cramchakle
General Novak
Patton
Electric Monk
Yertle
Those are the ones that I can think of. Originally I thought it was just allowing me to invite people from the Review Board to Dev games but it's them too sometimes.
If nobody else has this issue, maybe it's just me or something but it happens on both my work and home computers. Same browser on both.
Bug with the player - In this map http://www.wargear.net/games/player/6180 at SOME point in the history in the last 3 rounds (I would be more exact if I had history) I only received 4 attacks as far as I can tell. It's possible I may clicked the wrong attack button at some point, but can't see the timestamps. Perhaps a double-click was registered at some point, I'm unsure.
Here is a cut and paste from the board rankings. Ender has zero points even though he is above Waldo in the table.
Global Warfare
Ranked #6 / 323
Score 1307
Points 6
Wins 17 / 32 (53%)
# Score Player Points
4 1325 Bake 8
5 1313 zinner 8
6 1307 paulharrow 6
7 1273 Ender 0
8 1259 Waldo 3
This should be fixed - I've reindexed the rankings. It was due to the changeover and change back between the Global Warfare board versions.
Apostrophe's do not appear for me in the board descriptions, although they appear fine in the forum. Instead of an apostrophe, I get the following text:
'
(including the ampersand and the semicolon) I am running IE7 on XP Pro.
LOL, I did not type a semicolon in the previous post. :-))))
Take the hashes out of the following line to see what I typed above:
a#p#o#s#;
Just noticed that the tabular history listings need show the month wrong. They need a value of '1' added to the month.
ie. For 1st january, the date shows 00/01/2010. For 31st December it shows 11/31/2010.
I have timezone for Sydney (Australia), if that makes any difference.
Thanks Paul will look at those.
Minor bug, but I noticed that you can set the Min# players > Max# players in the board designer, and then it is impossible to start a game, and a bit tricky to figure out what you did wrong (at least if you are me).
Yes that will definitely cause problems - I'll block that from occurring in the next Designer update.
When you win a team game it says "Your team have won the game". Should of course say "has".

Tom speaks the Queen's Engrish.
This is a weird one. So you know when you're in a game and you click on 'Board' in the top array of buttons. On this particular game when you click that, there's a horizontal scroll bar blocking the buttons like Description, Territories, Borders etc. Hopefully you see it too...

Yep, I've seen this a few times too.

Here's a good one.

Eliminated a player by conquering a capital. I think what happened was, when the "you have crushed x player into dust beneath your bootheel! And captured 2 cards!!" box came up, I X'ed it rather than OK'ing it.
So then I didn't get an option to choose how many troops to move. And I didn't actually get the cards. And when I tried to attack or fortify anywhere else I got "invalid phase selection". So I said oh okay this game's bolluxed, backed out to the game list and came back. I came back and found what I expected - "please choose how many dudes to move into your new spot" - except that the Flash Player didn't have the box to choose! Luckily Vataro saved the day and I used a keyboard shortcut.
Please reply - I'm leaving my turn at that point so you can easily see where it went awry in the log.
