It would be nice if there was a way to identify friends/enemies in a game on the join page. Maybe a different colored border around their color square or a smiley/frowny in the square or something.
+1, there was talk about the need to see if an Enemy is already in a game and this sounds like it would work. I think I'd be more of a fan of the colored border, perhaps around the player's name box, than the smiley, just since that's what's used on the forums and profiles.
i'd like a way to tell if they are premium in-game.
I like the border idea too, but the only problem is that it will be hard to see if the person's color is green or red
not if it's fuzzy and bright like a lightsaber - especially if there were some sort of border separating it

That's why you put it in the Player Name column, not the Player Color, at least this would work on the Join page since these columns are separate.
For a Game page (the Player Stats box), I dunno, maybe the whole player row has an outline of Red/Green.
If the whole player row was outlined in red/green then what would happen if there was a game with an enemy and a friend in the same game? I think if there is any sort of indicator it has to be on individual player color squares.

Huh? I mean each individual Player row. So the enemy would be outline in red, the friend would be outlined in green, non-enemy/friend would be normal.
I've updated the page - see what you think.
interesting...
I can't test this out... I don't have any enemies. =/
shirley you jest...

I think I didnt understand which page you were talking about. I was talking about the join page that has the list of all games available to join, and I think you were talking about the page to join an individual game.
Ahhhh, yes yes I see now.
Yes that would be nice to see (without having to use the tooltip to see player names).
For this I think it could potentially be covered by underlining the boxes (just like when it is a player's turn) in Green/Red your Friends/Enemies boxes, this would only be available at the Join stage since the underlining is then used as Player Turn indicator. I guess could put the underline dash on top of the boxes, then it could be used for all Games Lists, dunno if that would end up looking busy though (could be a Setting though).
Looks great on the individual game join page. I would still like to see something on the join page that has the list of all available games so you dont have to enter the individual game page to identify games that contain friends/enemies.
i like your underline idea. that eliminates the problem of it being hard to see if they choose red or green as their color
it might be interesting to see an 'over'line...

Sorry to repost this, but I was going to suggest doing this and found this thread from Morbo.
So I am hoping we can get something on the main join page that alerts you to games that have your friends (or enemies) in it.
Thanks -
Good idea guys - I've added this in - it's a red / green underline for now.
