If this is the truth then not sure it matters all that much :p. If they are cheating in private games then that's easily solved by not joining them and they get no recognition from it anyways.

They've only played one public game together (http://www.wargear.net/games/view/35667) so even though the IP spoofing angle is possible on the balance of the evidence to date it's probably a bit unfair to make that assumption :)
