This is where I need your help.. these are some major enhancements that I would like to add once I have finished working on the board review / submission updates which should be done in a couple of days.
Tournaments
Game history log view (in Flash Player + also outside it potentially)
Simultaneous play mode (similar to BAO)
Board customisation (modding) system - via scenario system
Board payment system
Clan system
Completely redesign home page to make it customisable and retire orange tabs
Redesign game info pages to migrate all information to a single page

Although I kind of think doing a "Snowball" plan might be best. In which you have a list (of 5-6 things, like you already have), set the list in stone, and work through it starting with whatever is easiest/quickest and progressing to the longest/hardest. Once you complete that list then start a new list and do the same thing.
Simultaneous play --- (1 + x) votes, where x is defined as the number of votes for the next highest item on the list

not terribly interested in BAO, not terribly prolific on making boards so all those go out the window for me for now.
I would actually negative-vote on working on implementing tournaments soon. I think everything else should be sort of in place first (ie. board review system, turn-taking procedure should both be basically permanently fixed before the first tourney goes live).

OK asm is making me revise my votes, since I was kind of sloppy with it the first time.
I think the more modes of game play that you have (regular, teams, design, sim, tourny) the harder it would be to go back and fit in additional cool map options like:
fortify through teammate's territories
suicide
rampage dice (Kjeld's idea.. love it)
alternative win conditions
conditional bonuses (Risky I think mentioned this)
tech-based dice mods (control X for +1 for all dice, etc.)
player based dice mods
special cards (take another turn, +1 to all dice for this turn, nuke 1 territory)
There are probably an infinite number of things you can add to normal gameplay options that would make your site stand out over and above the other 5-6 risk based sites out there. So my revised voting would be:
more regular game options +5
history log/dice/luck stats +3
home page redesign +2
sim play -1
toury play -1
The minuses for basically the same reason asm stated, because I would hate to have additional game options become too hard to implement because there were too many game modes in place to get it to work in all of them.

Ooh, what are they? Kind of like quad damage dice (for those who used to play Quake!)
Oh Kjeld's Rampage Dice were like, if you have 100 armies and your enemy has 10 (for example) then you are much much more likely to simply rampage over them without any losses.
