I agree, no pop is needed IMO.
Alright... sounds like that one was voted down!
Agree about jumping to the Play tab if there are no more matches.
Maybe this could be a settable preference for premium folks? But I'm in agreement, I'd hate to have to click that each turn when I'm holding cards.
Eh, i see peoples point, but no one seemed to be bitching on that other site we used to use. I think the pop up is a great method. What about color-blind people? They see that green as gray and therefore cannot tell the difference. All of you are insensitive to the plight of the color-blind.
There's a setting on this site which allows you to hold anwhere from 5 to Unlimited cards - so for higher card numbers you'd start getting prompted every single turn which would be kind of annoying.
annoying, but not harmful. I wouldn't be angry if that occured. If a pop up is the best solution I believe it should be implemented. I understand not liking this solution, but saying no and not offering an alternative is just counter-productive.
Is there a reason this can't be a preference setting? It seems to me like that would be the best method, but I don't know the programming involved so have no idea if the preferences are accessible from the player...
Sure, it can be a preference setting, that's probably the best option all round I'd say.
/agree.

Last I checked, typical color-blind people can differentiate between green and grey. Just not green and red.
The color blind people I know see red and green as a dim gray, but cannot differentiate between the two, because they are such a similar gray.
But what does gray look like?

Is there anyway that the site could be braile for fully blind people, have the ability to take turns just by looking at a territory and blinking for those with no arms, could tom supply computers and internet access to those that don't have it and could we also just let all morons win games so they don't feel bad about themselves?

You'd propose anything to win a game, wouldn't you Risky?

Perfect! I'll be enabling that setting :
I like that there's so much development going on behind the scenes. I'm completely behind Yertle on this one. I too know what it feels like to place one units and then realize I meant to play a risk set on that turn.
