There are some horrible players on this site. NWO is an example. How can I block him from playing at tables I start.
I can only assume that you are talking about players that use stalling tactics in Real Time games.
My understanding is that if a player is a Premium Member, you can't block them. If they are a Standard Member, you can block them from joining games you start IF you are a Premium Member, so barring that working..
My recommendation is that instead of playing Real-Time games, try to play games with a Fisher Clock. With a FC, not only can you customize the amount of time per turn, but you can make it such that the player who moves faster is 'credited' with more time ..up to a limit that you set. When setting the clock, consider the way the board plays. E.g., in late game stages, think about if it is reasonable to complete a move in 3 minutes, etc..
TY great suggestion.
Stalling is not a tactic... stalling is grounds for banishment.
I am totally against naming players in the forums, but NWO is a player that needs to be monitored and considered for banishment.
I have to say that this is one of the threads that made me think about a reputation system. It would be nice if you came across someone like this to have a heads up as to their bad behavior.
We need Tom to create a heads-up-ass symbol/medal ala the trophy that Bill Maher used to have on his show, which could overlay the player's avatar.

This was on my buddies fridge for most of my young life. :)
Ha, yes that's it, albeit a bronzed version.
Doesn't making a player an enemy block them from joining games you create? It does for me for a certain player.
If you're a premium member, enemies can't join games you create or have already joined. But it's not effective against premium members.
