What's everyone's thoughts on this? Is everything there that needs to be there?
My current plan is that the Help link would stay named 'Help' but updated to link direct to the Wiki.
crap. i forgot to do my 1to1 compare to make sure we weren't missing anything from the help pages. i'll try to do that tonight.
The last time I looked the Wiki could use a bit of formatting some, but for the most part I think the items were ported over. It would probably be nice to be able to get to the Help pages for a bit longer if we're unsure of some information missing or mis-formatted, but I think the Link could probably go ahead and be updated.
alright i've looked through it real quick. here are the things that should be done before we can eliminate the Help link:
From the Help Basics: - "joining or creating a game" needs integrated with "How to Play" on wiki
From the Help FAQs: - are all the help FAQs recreated on the wiki?
From the Help Designing Boards: - double check that there is no pertinent info from "board review", "Board Design Tools", "Anti-aliasing" and "Board Design FAQs" that needs moved over.

I agree we could probably work on the formatting and organizing of it a bit, tho i think the effort was to make sure everything was over there first...

Uhmm, ..not my bailiwick. :}
i can help. but i got a couple other things i need to get done at home first...taxes being started tonight.
Thanks guys!
Anything more that needs to be done?
Looks good to me. We may need to add the Board Design FAQ and the Board Design Anti-Aliasing pages if we want (or I may have just overlooked them), but I pulled them and can throw them on a page in the near future.
Only other note is still if you pull the Help pages then the links in the Options column that links to the Help will probably need updating.

- the "Help:Anti-Aliasing" needs moved over to here, think you helped move other pages over?
cleanup from my work tonight that needs attention:
- I added info to this page, but i was not sure how to add it cohesively to the Review Board Criteria page.
- I updated the General FAQ page, but not sure how to fix the hide/show image thing.
- I updated the Designer FAQ page, but the formula for # of neutrals didn't go thru correctly

what do you mean by the "options" column?
once those are done, all things in the Help section are on the wiki.
anyone know how you make text colored on the wiki? didn't understand it from the syntax page?

On Games Lists the option column with the different icons (ie Fog, Turn Timer, etc.) are links to Help pages.
But not the tournament icon (trophy) or the team game indicator (2 little heads)
ah.
were you able to get that anti-aliasing moved over?
The Wiki has now replaced the Help section. Thanks again to everyone who has contributed.
The old Help pages can still be accessed via http://www.wargear.net/help/display
one issue:
i was trying to find the list of recent changes (per the link at the top of the wiki), but doesn't show many/most of the updates.
if i dive further in, to a particular page and look at the recent changes (for that page alone, which seems to appear correctly) it says ' click here for a list of the updates to the whole of the wiki'; but this doesn't show anywhere near the whole of the updates.
is there anyway for that 'whole wiki' recent changes to actually encompass any changes made?
Nice job guys!
