That event happened before the bug fix - it's not a retrospective change.

The last 1000 events are stored but the display is limited to 100 events maximum at the moment - just arbitrary numbers for now.

tom, what do you think about including the link to the game in the ranking score change messages? people might like to go back and see which game was responsible for a particular score change.

Yes good idea I'll add this.

• Removed score change icons from Public ticker as these events are only visible in Private tickers
• Added relevant game link to ranking and board score changes
• Added turn notifications to Private ticker
• Added 'New' icon for events that have been added since you last visited the page

I am wondering, you have the turn taken info and the message viewed info from the boards, right? Could you use that info to adjust the 'NEW' flag? So that the flag keeps track of what actually happened on the site rather than just viewing the ticker page?

Yes I suppose it could... but there's some implications in terms of server performance if the page starts taking into account all those factors, there's be a fair bit of data that would need to be parsed to get that info. It might be possible to do still - I'll have a think about it.

I love the ticker too!

I had a suggestion - is it possible to display when you lose championship points due to someone else overtaking your position?  I lost 10 CPs recently on games that I wasn't involved in - it'd be cool to see on the ticker which boards I lost the CPs on.

You should see those games on your Private ticker as you will have lost championship points when they overtook you. Did you not see any notification about this?

I was here to suggest request and icon for tournament events (Tournament started/tournament ended)

But in response to your question for Cona's post (from almost a year ago- crazy)- I don't think we see when we gain/lose cp's as a result of a game we are not in.
