Over the last few months several wargear mapmakers have been creating new maps all with a single theme (Dr. Seuss). To make things even more exciting, Tom has put up $100 for the winners. Everyone is invited to vote on these maps to help decide the winner. The only requirement is that you must play at least one game on every map in the contest before voting. Voting will be open until Midnight GMT August 31st.
To keep the voting thread clean, this thread is for general discussion of the contest. To vote, you must go to this thread:

So I'm considering taking myself out of the competition. My board is still in review. IMO, it plays OK, but not great and could still use some work, which I hope to get to over the next month. The only reason to keep myself in, is because a competition with only two contestants is not as interesting as one with three contestants. Any thoughts?

Just one more!
Keep it in.
Here is the new link for my Seuss board:
Hey Ozy, I was trying to start a game with your board but didnt see it in the game list.
It's not published yet, so you can't get to it from the standard boards list. You should be able to find it under the 'beta' boards games list, but you have to turn that on in your settings. It's under:
profile->settings->Game/Board Lists
Then the last option.
An easier way is to just follow the link I gave right above you:

A lot of people don't have the beta/dev option turned on, so if you create a public game I would recommend a relatively small game, because most people won't see it in their games list.
do map designers vote?
yeah

Sorry, it's been kind of a moving target. Try this link (I recommend the 'default' scenario):

Anyone who has not been able to get a game going on Learn To Read, feel free to vote without having played it. Just leave it off your ballot and it will get no points for your vote.
I think this is where I'm supposed to say this, instead of the voting area...
I'm incredibly impressed with the 3 maps submitted for this contest. The theme is incredibly difficult to capture, and all 3 maps do an incredible job. Well done to all 3 of you.

Just a reminder. Today is the last day to vote!!
