Playing Dejeweled and I noticed that despite having started with several 3 or more in a row they were not removed from the board my first turn. (this makes sense especially since I was first to go), but I was surprised when they weren't removed during the second round. I don't think they were removed for the other players in the second round either. Am I missing something?

From the description:
"No territories will be emptied on each player's first turn."
I'll let EN comment on this one.
I'm having the same problem in my game. Is it possible that the recent changes to order of factory implementations have had an impact on this one?
Also, Roshambo is messed up. I'm basically getting nothing on the board. No numbers ..nothing.
For reference, we have a functional Dejeweled game (also w/ AdamN) going at

From the history, by round 2, there is a dance at the beginning of the turn for each player where a factory creates and destroys a unit on the winner spot. Also, by round 2, esp had a factory destroying units from the 3-in-a-row. So, something is different. (It'd be puzzling if it had to do with the territory bonus change.)

Roshambo territory positions look messed up - check the Designer: http://www.wargear.net/boards/designer/2821
..so what happens when a game in a tourney is terminated?

I can't think of any way it could affect it - it's just the territory bonus calculation, factories themselves are unchanged. The damn board is so complex we really need EN's help!
I'm also having trouble with factories on this board: http://www.wargear.net/boards/designer/3190
Even though I can't see anything wrong with the factory setup, many of them simply aren't functioning. For example, controlling the spade does not auto-capture the center of any of the trees. And the axe doesn't spawn it's 3 per turn, either.
So, on a hunch, I turned off the setup option that lets the designer dictate how many units each player should start with on their first turn (I had it set to 10, with 10 reserves). Now the factories magically seem to be working again. Perhaps that setting had something to do with it?

Good spot thanks! Yes, I think this might be it - for the game clock changes the statement to unset the player's first turn was not being removed so the engine thinks it is the player's first turn each time. I have patched this bug.
Let me know if any games need restarting.
great, thanks!

M57, are you referring to your game in the RoShamBo tournament? Now that the issue appears to be fixed, maybe you can have the game restarted if you want. Of course, your terminated game had a bit of a domino effect. The winner of your game would have played Gemstar; however, as the game was terminated, he received a pass through round 4 and is now facing me in round 5 (elimination tournament). So, my game against Gemstar would need to be cancelled as well as his pass through round 4. I don't care either way - I haven't taken my first turn yet.
Tom, here is the tournament:

It's fine if tom can restart -- but no big deal if it messes up the tournament.
Well RoShamBo looks to be screwed somehow - the territories aren't in the right spots and I'm not sure how to fix it. I'll drop Chogyam a note.
I don't think Chogyam logs in anymore.
My original game backed up to the second round and it didn't clear anything the second round again! At least that is what I think! I'm not very bright!
Should the RoShamBo tournament be frozen until the board can (hopefully) be fixed?

I've suspended the boot mechanism in the remaining two Round 5 games. Once we have the board fixed I'll restart any games which were affected. I've emailed Chogyam to get his assistance.

Any update on this bug? It has been about a month and it seems that Chogyam is taking a break from WG. Should the rest of the tournament be terminated?
Agreed and I've cancelled it for now - if we get the board issues resolved we can reinstate it.
