I am currently working on maps based on the world of Robert Jordan. As an immense fan of this series, i know that anything less than a great map will not be acceptable to others who like the books as much as i do.
If you read these books, (and know the board designing process) post in this thread so that i can run map ideas by multiple people
i'm sure you've got mine already programmed (one m or two?) in but thought i'd place here for posterity sake...
Me too.
I read the first two books and am always willing to give my input.
I've been working on a Wheel of Time map for nearly 6 months at the warfish site, but my skills at map making are lacking. I'd be happy to test out what you have so far.
Love the books - I had an abstract style game in the works for a while, but never totally panned out - I'd love to give your map a try!
@ Saiyan Just looked at your Beta Board, but I couldn't play it yet. I really like the look of it, though I'm not so sure about the castles (they seem to dominate it). Did you design the background yourself or is this an image you got off the internet? BTW here is the beta board I was working on at War Fish, I don't love it and it still needs a lot of work. Any tips you have would be appreciated, I figure there is plenty of room for more than one map of Wheel of Time on this site. http://warfish.net/war/play/gamemap/70326220/1305499069.gif
you will have to message me privately and ill give you my email so you can send me the pics. Cause i can't get onto Warfish
