    i think Yertle will know for sure, but from personal experience an 8inx10" portrait style graphic will fit, but an 8.5"x11" will not

    But I can change,
    if I have to,
    I guess...

    In the past the Flash Player has had problems with boards above 2,000 x 2,000 pixels, I assume that's still the case but haven't really tested it in a while, so that should probably be the max (then the max 1 mb file size (well really 1,024 kb max :p) ).

    Although even smaller sizes than that can cause scrolling depending on player's screen size, which can be annoying during gameplay, so that is usually taken into account by board designers too.

    interesting...at 96ppi 8.5x11 = 816x1056
    if i uploaded that to the designer, it wouldn't load the whole thing.

    That is odd, Koprulu is bigger than that (1,091px × 1,200px), I'm sure Gauntlet and others are bigger too.

    Have you tried a new board id or refreshing a bunch?  Once when I was attempting to break tom's stuff (it's really fun :)) the old dimensions of an image "stuck" with a new board image.  After a short bit of time (ie writing a bug thread) and some refreshes the problem fixed itself/went away (and thus I was disappointed :D).

    Tom mentioned once that the size of the flash window needs to be defined prior to the board image being loaded.  So once you upload an image to the designer, try saving, leaving the designer and returning, you should then be able to see the entire board.

    From tread: http://www.wargear.net/forum/showthread/1436/Fonts_not_correct_in_game_description_for_viewer

    tom wrote:

    With Flash the size of the Flash object can be set to either vary with the size of the browser window or be fixed. To minimize the occurrence of scroll bars the site was switched over to fixed width Flash objects some time ago.

    Consequently when loading a board image the Designer is configured to be the size of the board image, if this changes then the Designer is the wrong size to properly display the board. Usually just exiting the designer and going back in will resolve this.

    Ahhhh, does that post go here?   Seemed a bit odd in the Font thread, but makes more sense here {#emotions_dlg.scratchchin}

    I didn't even realize that it was so out of place when I referenced it.
