good board overall, however, games in this board tend to take ages to complete. After getting continents its all about stalling games and seeing who messes up to gain an upper hang.

i love how the boundaries and territories are very clear. the fact that it is based on an actual map is a plus, too.

This is a great large player, snatch and grab continents type map. A map doesn't have to be all over the place and complicated to be enjoyable IMO. Things that make this map superb: addition of cities, great card scale, graphics are nice.

This is a great board for a number of players, especially with light fog and escalating cards. Some players tend to sit still and stockpile cards which can be a potent tactic however not quite in the spirit of the game as far as i'm concerned!

As with any large board, I like it better with medium to total fog. Any less and you're likely to have a stalemate or at the minimum players ganging up on the strongest player. But that will happen in CC or other large board, it's not limited to this one.
I think this board is well designed, visually and regarding bonuses, it's fun to play.

Great board for many players. The card bonuses really help move the game along.
