I really enjoyed this board. Good for 4-6 player games.

This is actually a small board. And it plays like one. There are some choke points, but the bonuses are small, so defending the choke points starts to lose it's purpose after a while.

More players is better.

The board is easy on the eyes and simple to understand - but watchout! some of the rocks are worth waaay more than others.

In the games I played, it came down to the dice, but there is some room for strategy here.

Couldn't say it's great, but it's better than fair, so it's Good.

Could be a good board but low number of starting armies make the first turns very slow

Solid board. I wish a 6/10 wasn't "average", because it is above average to me. Just not quite a 7/10.

The simplicity of this map is really what makes it. I've played a few games on it that have been quite interesting. Simple can definitely be good if it's done right.

The graphics on this board are appealing enough that I tried it, so that's a plus, but play is predictable. Basically, whoever secures an outside rock is "in"; everyone else is toast. From there things seem to evolve fairly quickly and even with fog on there doesn't seem to be much room for subtle strategy. Secure a corner -bash away at the center - and then pick apart the rest of the board.

Pretty simple. Like someone said above, secure a corner and you win by default

I think it's better than some of the reviews would indicate, especially when played with fog.
