I'm bored and this forum was lonely. This is the Risky equivalent of a booty call without getting a restraining order filed against me.

I think I played like 5 turns today and had none of the games that I started fill up including a 2 player game.
Was it a WarGear holiday and nobody told me? If that's the case, it's your loss because I would have brought over RiskyBack's famous Cheese Ball and some stale crackers!
P.S. I get to move back into my apartment next week! It's only been 4 months since the fire so that seems reasonable since the fire did no actual damage. Really what that means for all of you is that I will have WiFi and my computer back so expect to be seeing more of me.

I wonder why it's nearly impossible to fill a 100-person tournament here. 256ers used to fill in a couple of weeks on wf...

I'm still a firm believer it's because there isn't a simple way for the host to invite (via email) mass amounts of people, especially people the host doesn't really know (ie no invite all previous opponents). Also the Tournaments tab is easy to ignore even when invited (no notification elsewhere on the site).
I really think it's more the notification than the number of players, although the number of players plays a role as well, WG is definitely still in it's growing stages.
Although for me, WF tournaments have scared me away from many tournaments here. I've very fond of keeping my tournament count low now.
Of course, I have yet to see a broken tournament on WG that doesn't get fixed, whereas on WF there's a pretty good chance those tournaments will never finish due to bugs (and even more so right now since I don't think players can get booted).

I have been told that some people don't like tournaments here because of the Swiss System. If you lose 1 game you may very well be out of the running for the win and you still have to play more games. I see this as a valid point the more tournaments I play in. I'm in a Count Risky Tourney and I am totally done in it but I have to play games in it for no reason other than the love of looking at that cute Count Risky in the moon. I think knockout tournaments are better and perhaps the popularity will grow when they come online.

This is a good point, although for those of us who monitor our overall rankings, T-scores, and H-ratings, every game always counts.
