What do you have to do to become a premium member?

hi Killer - at the moment everyone who joins becomes a premium member automatically, however after 30 days that expires and you then have the choice of carrying on as a free standard member or paying $10 for 3 months / $30 per year.
I tried to set the differences between the accounts so that casual players will be able to play for free but the heavier players will probably want to go premium.

I noticed that non-premium members can only have 5 active games at a time. What happens if a premium member has more than that going and their premium membership runs out? Is there just something in place to keep non-premium from starting/joining games when they have 5+ games going, or can they not have more than 5 games?

one thing all forums need is a shortcut to the first unread post for each thread (or does clicking on the thread do that automatically? nope it doesn't)
sweet. edit post works!tho the auto placement at the first post once posted kinda sucks. just joined my first game, suckas!

hi Vataro and welcome to the site - that's correct, it just stops you from creating or joining a new game, you can still play out your active games of course.

...that's correct, it just stops you from creating or joining a new game, you can still play out your active games of course.
Can't you get around this by joining lots and lots of tournaments?
