For some reason now it jumps to the correct page (I think there was something wrong when the number of posts/replies matched the number of posts to display for your User Setting, could that be related?).

didn't go to the right page for me...and i had another thread that jumped me to the last post instead of the top of the 6 posts above it that were all new...

also looks like the unreads are tied to the account, but to the computer. things i read earlier today at work showed up as unread at home.

Ok so there was a bug where if you had an unread post which was the first post on a new page it would only take you to the end of the previous page - this should now be fixed.

weathertop - the unreadcound is tied to your user account and should follow you from computer to computer, unless you're not logged in at all on one of them that is.

Anyone else get that problem?

Interesting, I came here looking to see the status on fixing the jump to unread post bug and see that it's supposed to be fixed already.

Doesn't work for me at all, both the little red icon and the title of the post itself all take me to the bottom of the last page of the thread, even for threads I know I haven't looked at at all yet.

I'll do a little digging and see what I can find.

Hmm not much digging required.  It looks like the anchor links work, it's just that all of the links are to the last post of the last page, regardless of whether I've read them or not.

The only non-standard thing I can think of is that I have Threads per Page and Posts per Page set to maximum values in my settings, because I hate paging.

Almost =] For threads that I've read already that have new posts, it takes me to the right one. For new threads I haven't read, it takes me to post 2. I blame Yertle.

To add insult to injury, not only does the entire post disappear, the back button on my browser (my usual savior) doesn't have it either.

I'll revisit this when I get a chance. Maybe I can think of an easier way to do it.

Yea, this has hit me a couple times. Can be quite annoying at times :P.
