What should be on the sidebar vs the start page?

so I made a sub-page Named Strategy and Tips from my Roses page - and it's showing up on the site map. But won't there potentially be hundreds of pages named strategy and tips? I tried renaming it at the strategy and tips page, but that didn't change it. I'm afraid that if I change it on the Roses Page, then the page I made will disappear..
