So in Doom's Myths and Legends map when I attack from the right side of the map (like country Ishtar to a nearby country) the Attack Window opens up nearly entirely off the Flash UI, so I have to grab it and move it (same with Transfer/Fortify). I imagine this map happen with more maps when attacking near the right side.
I just came here to report the same problem on "Battle USA." On the right side as well. Teach the attack window to put itself somewhere within the confines of the map graphic.

Teach the attack window to put itself somewhere within the confines of the SCREEN. WF still gets this wrong and whenever I'm on my laptop I'm always scrolling up and down to find the damn attack window.
BTW asm you're avatar is seriously creepy. It makes me afraid.
Yep... the problem is the logic in where to position the damn thing. It's quite complicated - it needs to be placed somewhere that is close to the mouse pointer, doesn't obscure either the attacking, the defending territory or the border and is within the confines of the screen. I'll work on it next time I update the Player.
I would probably attack this by dividing the screen into 4 quadrants to determine the initial placement.
If mouse is in upper right of screen, then initial placement would have the attack window appear with it's upper right corner on the mouse. Then you could move it down and to the left to clear the coords of the 2 countries. I dunno if you have to worry so much about the border?
Or hell just make the attack window transparent and not worry about moving it away from the countries.
Although once again maybe that solution isn't viable on flash and you can only get the mouse coords from within the actual player area. Hmm.
Well I can get mouse coordinates relative to the whole player area and to the board image area if that helps...
The player has been updated to fix this problem - let me know how it goes now.

Of me, or of Yertle?
It has much better effect when more people without them are posting in a thread.

Attack doesn't appear to go off the Screen. However, Transfer and Fortify windows both DO still go off the screen.
It also seems at times the Attack window gets placed directly on top of my country I am attacking to, which means I have to move it (or I should).

At some point, this could be better. I'm getting quite a bit overlap of the Attack/Transfer/Fortify windows on top of the areas/borders. Not a huge deal, and not a game breaker, just a nice to have.
Attacking from where to where Yertle?
Vulture to Gull (bottom Right of map), it was cutting off at around the 3 button.
