WG has tournaments that encourage new and active map-makers, but some of us don't make maps to order. More importantly, there are a number of fantastic maps out there that are or have been ineligible for honors for any number of reasons. A "Hall of Fame" trophy/prize/ribbon may or may not be accompanied by a monetary consideration, but I figured I'd just throw the idea out there.

Speaking of considerations, I'm pretty sure there's no way to know who has won any prizes to date..   Perhaps there could be some kind of ribbon attached somewhere to the board in the "Boards' section.

What about a hall of fame for players? Anyone who at some point in time manages to crack the top 10 gets to upload a biography/manifesto/whatever they want along with the date range they were in the top 10.

As for monetary of Board Designs, I'd still be in favor of some similar system like what ToS had for players to contribute to board designers.
