Apologies for the site outage today - this is due to a database server problem which is being investigated.

There may be some ongoing downtime whilst this issue is resolved. The boot / turn skipping engine has been disabled until this is resolved so you will not be booted from your games.

This has now been fixed. Sorry for the disruption - a configuration file got corrupted somehow and this affected loading of the main game database.

The boot timer is currently suspended, it will be re-enabled tomorrow morning.

trying to pull up a game from browser history (from yesterday) - it allowed me in and loaded. hung up when i placed units; tho a refresh made them appear already applied.

Still a couple of issues to be resolved, sorry.

for the most part we're just trying to provide as much intel as possible.

Still working on this folks, this affects the My Games listings and loading of Board images (so you can't play a game right now either). I hope to have this up within the hour.

My Games should be fine now, there is still a problem with displaying Board images which will prevent games from being played in the Flash player.

FWIW, I was having problems taking a turn in the native player.  The board and the action popups would not reflect the result of the action, I had to refresh the page.  Using the player's refresh widget would dismiss the attack action popup and invoke the fortify popup if the territory was taken, but only a browser page reload would dismiss the fortify popup (it could also be closed manually).

Once all is back to normal and you have a moment for less important things, please reset http://www.wargear.net/games/view/191003 to turn 566 - player corvo013 had his turn skipped apparently due to the issues.

OK folks I think we are there. I've tested play in the Flash and Native players and both are working fine and all your games should be back.

native player works, tho a bit slow on thinking.

My games still won't load.  The list loads but the games won't load.

Just did something I probably should not have done, I ended my vacation before the bug was fixed. I hope it will not create another skip as I can't play my turn right now.

I won't re-enable the autoboot / autoskip till tomorrow.

I tried that-deleted all history including cookies etc. and they still wouldn't load on the first try but if I hit 'retry' it worked.  So, I'm a happy camper.  Thanks for all your help.
