I would vote for outside the map as well. While it's true that with a little work a mapmaker can make a very nice integrated legend, it's unnecessary and time-consuming.

Maybe you should make this customizable for mapmakers. Hit a button for outside (and some comments added in the extra space as well). OR let the mapmaker put it on his map with another button.

Yup, it's totally gone now. Is that the way it's gonna be? I will need to update some stuff if it is not there or if outside is the only place. It's fine with me, I just wanna know for sure.

Try doing a hard refresh to reload the board Designer - it shouldn't appear in the new version any more.

Even if it does, just ignore it as it's not implemented in the Player any more.

The Legend still appears on the Game Info page (the page outside the Flash) for older maps (maps before change to Designer?). Not a big deal, just a visual display and doesn't appear to affect new maps created.

Wait, does it really just smash the Legend into the upper left corner for new maps?  It appears that's what that gob of stuff is up there :P.
