And Wargear tries to teach me a new lesson--patience.
That feeling when you've won but the tournament isn't going to finish by the end of the year . . .

Obviously, my impatience is do to not being in this enviable position very often. :)
I know the feeling :-) (and also not been there often -- just 6 tourney wins so far)
On the OTHER hand, it's far preferable than where my team sits in another tourney right now --- 11 rounds total, we've played (and lost) *4*. The dice and layouts have truly not been with us. I mention this one because there is at least one other team that has already won *8* rounds. In other words... we have 7 rounds remaining where all we can fight for is to retain a bit of pride :-D
Defending one's honor, even in defeat. 😊. That's a battle worth fighting, but it's hard to play your best, when first place is out of reach and there is more hope in other games. Wishing you better luck in the next one, agwyvern.
Still, always fun to get wins, so I imagine the goal now is 7-4 agwyvern. 😉
Occasionally you have to wait. I have one tourney where I was congratulated on the win (correctly) early July, and it's still ongoing and will likely last at least another month.
Good luck agwyvern :)
