The timer is not skipping players who are beyond the allotted time in Real Time or Fischer Clock games.
It is skipping just not promptly like it should. 1 minute or more in some games.
I have a real-time game currently at 12 minutes. http://www.wargear.net/games/player/521975
i noticed that earlier. i had gotten sidetracked by a call at work *gasp!* and came back to a timer at 10:36. i refreshed the page thinking it just hadn't ticked over to the new person. But it still allowed me to place and attack and end my turn (i still heavily lost that game...)
I'm sure it will get fixed because the team at WarGear is amazing but it is a pretty big inconvenience when you specifically plan a game's timer so it doesnt take longer than 30 mins.
I'm having the same issue right now. Player quit game (pouted) and it won't finish the game. By the way, the player is a very angry dude who likes 4 letter words.
my game ended. TY

i've had issues with him in the past too. i've posted a note to chill and watch the language on his wall and will inform tom so he can keep a closer eye on him. thanks.
The timer also has issues in normal games. I can be on the native player in a game, and it can be my turn, but the timer is still counting time for opponent, like it's their turn. If i exit natice player and go back into the game, the timer then shows it's my turn
I've made some changes which will hopefully resolve this issue - it's related to the turn notification problems. Could you let me know if it has helped?
It seems to have fixed the issue with normal games, thanks Tom!
I don't play lightning games, so I'll let someone else answer on that front...
Seems to be up to snuff now!
Excellent :)
