Suggestion:  Create a "Bump" button for open games that initiates a new notification for players.

The idea here is that if you have an open game (especially flash game) that has gone some time without being filled, you can "bump" the game so that a notification is sent again for all players.  By notification I mean the little black box in the top right that alerts you to open games, your turn, etc.

To keep the bump from becoming excessive, I'd also suggest a bump cap of 2 or 3 bumps per game.

That's why there should be a limit.  Even if it is only one additional bump.  Would keep folks from button-mashing the bump.

Another option that would get to the same thing but with less user action would be an automatic bump after X minutes a game hasn't filled.  

How about if the bump only got sent to players who didn't get the original notification? 

Maybe coupled with a 'don't show me invites for this map' button to help train the growls to better match what a player wants? 

seeing as the instant notification system isn't working correctly yet, i don't think that's an option at this point.

if and when they do get fixed i only see this being an option for 1) RT/lightning games, where the GROWLS could be utilized (and a limit to 1 'bump' after at least 10-15 mins or 2) private games with extra invitees, where an email would get sent out.
