Same browser (and version) for the last several months, at least.
Problem just started yesterday, and started with the situation where the load bar would reach 100%, but the "thinking" cursor would never leave, or it would take 15 or 20 minutes to do so (i.e. load the board).
Now, I don't even get a load bar, just a blank backdrop.
Which operating system / browser + version are you using?
Is this at home or at work? Can you try with a different browser or computer?
Have you tried clearing your cache?
Firefox 4 (Everytime I restart the browser, it prompts me to update to 5, but I've denied each time; I have some other add-ons and modules that I know aren't compatible with 5 yet, so I'm holding off).
This is at home. My job doesn't permit sites like these, and I don't have the time to play games anyway.
Just tried IE (I don't know what version it is). The only reason it is even on my computer anymore is because the scheduling service through my job is only compatible with IE.
So what happened with IE?
IE works okay. I'm just not understanding why FF stopped working all of a sudden.
Might be related to the Adobe Flash version - you could try upgrading that?
I upgraded the flash, for another site, but it started working again before that yet. However, I'm a little pissed that firefox somehow automatically upgraded to 6 when flash upgraded. At no point did I give permission for it to do so.

Firefox really went downhill fast after about v4.0, they've "forcefully" released like 3 versions very very close to one another, and it ended up being very slow for me due to how they handle Flash stuff... I eventually went to Chrome and it seems to hold up better. Chrome has pretty much just as good/equal Apps as well.
I've heard good things about both chrome and firefox, but also some bad things about both. I have my firefox so customized, as far as layout goes (buttons that show, where they go, all of my favorites/shortcuts below the url bar, etc.) that I just don't have the patience to get accustomed to a new browser, not to mention moving everything over.
Now I'm being told that there is a firefox 7 being forced onto me (it didn't ask me if I would allow the company to make changes to my hd, but told me that the next time I restarted my browser, FF7 would be installed). Pretty irritated...I would get pissed if Microsoft did something like that when they switched from MS Office 2003 to 2010.
watch out beta 8 is being pushed on me at the moment.
This also means that I'm intentionally hibernating my computer whenever I will be away from it so that it won't shut down and install updates for Windows....
