I found a mistake in one of my live boards, how shall i go about correcting it?
Can i retire the board, fix it, and then re-submit it? Or will i need to create a new version?

You will want to Create a new version, fix mistake in the new version, then Promote the new version. The new version is then promoted straight to Live and the current version is automatically Retired.
Games in Progress will not see the changes, only future started games will see the changes.
If the mistake is game threatening (affecting games) and is a relatively minor change (continent needs fixing, border issues, etc.) then either tom or I can make the change to Live board which means current games in Progress will be affected immediately and you wouldn't have to do the New Version thing. Feel free to let me know if that's needed and I'd be happy to do it.

thanks! it's on Mario World 3, on the Island at the bottom left. There is a border between the two diagonal spaces (territories 19 and 20) which should not be there.

It should be there, shouldn't all docks border all docks?
