Day at the Races

Movement: Movement on the board is always in the forward (clockwise) direction. Drivers can move forward in their lane or move forward and switch into an adjacent lane (this is a little strange on the turns in the outside lane so pay attention). Each turn players has unlimited attacks and fortifies.

Bonuses: The bonuses on this board come from drafting; that is, from owning two cars on behind the other in a lane. This includes drafting into and out of the turns. Each draft grants a +1 bonus. In addition, there is a minimum of 2 units per turn and an elimination bonus of 5 units.

Cards: The cards follow a cyclic turn in value given below:

3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 3, 4, 5, ...

Players are allowed to hold up to six cards.

Scenario: The board is set-up with a scenario start that is intended to grant a "fair" beginning to the race. However, there is some luck with how the cars are initially distributed so every game should be different.
