I've been talking with another of my fish'ing converts about information gathered in fog games.
We thought it might be interesting to have another option for fog games. Let's for the sake of argument call it 'blind' mode as i'm not creative today and the only other name i could think of was 'who the fu@k is there?'.
essentially boils down to this: when attacking a territory, you have no indication of who owns it or how many troops are there (depending on the level of fog).
for example: when in a total fog game, currently when you attack you can see the owner and how many they have in the defending territory. this option, once clicked, would end up revealing none of that information (thus the blind reference). in a heavy fog you can see the owner, but not the unit count. with this option you would never know the unit count.
could add for some seriously interesting and entertaining games.
I am said convert.... Basically it would be a "Don't reveal additional info upon attacking" option. Its not an additional level of fog but rather a secondary option that modifies the fog level option.
Yes I think that's a good idea - will add it to the todo list.
Count me out of any and all of those strategy-less games.
