I was not allowed to place any units.  The game went straight to the attack phase at the start of my turn.  It won't let me go back to placement even though I haven't made any attacks.

I'm afraid I now have exactly the same problem in this game:

One wrinkle: When I open the game, it tells me I have a set of cards to trade.  If I click "Trade Cards", there's no way to select any cards, and the only way out is to click "Play" at the top.  If instead, I just click "Play" when offered the option to trade cards, it goes straight to the game.  Either way, I am directly in attack mode, without having had the opportunity to place units, just as in the other game.

Has something changed in the software recently?  I'd never had this problem before, and I'm not doing anything differently.

I've reset it to your turn again. Are you using the default or Native player to take your turns?

No code has been changed in the last 2 weeks and I'm not seeing this problem with any other games.
