True. I would add that when I get good rolling I will not go watch the luck graph. I just don't care as it just means I had the good strategy and I am the best. It's very different with bad rolling...
True! I've noticed that some players even post the luckchart when they are unlucky. I have never seen anyone post a luckchart when they were lucky though! I see the same in poker. On every site i play people think that the site is 'screwing him over'. Its because we tend to focus on the negative instead of the positive!
Or no-one likes it when it's harder than othertimes.
What are the odds winning a 3v1 (both sides using d6)?
It seems that it should be a high percentage, but I've found that I'm about 55-45 looking back through all my games for a couple weeks, including losing 11-in-a-row to a singleton on one occasion.
It depends on what you mean by 3 v 1. If you mean you rolling 3 dice v opponent rolling 1 (so you must have 4 or more units in the attacking territory) then:
65.97% for 3 attacking dice versus 1 defending die
If you mean a terriotory with 3 units attacking a territory with one unit then:
57.87% for 2 attacking dice versus 1 defending die
So, if you were rolling 3 dice v 1 die, you have been unlucky recently.
It's 3 attackers. BTW, this was an improvement. I found found some weeks that I'm under 50-50%.
Who wins ties? Defender or Attacker? I have only played a few games but it seems that wargear must give ties to Defender.
yes - ties go to the defender.
