I'd like to see the ability to Sort by Played, Won, Lost, Win%, and maybe even Country (or somehow the ability to see on a Per Country basis, not really Global though is it :P).  Same for Global Ranking, Board Championship, and each individual Board Ranking page. 

I would also like to see an additional column on the Board Championship ranking that displays Number of Boards with at least 1 Championship Point (I've always been impressed with Dingo's number of maps with a Medal on WF (which by the way is more than you KK :P) and it took a long time to even tie him).

Good ideas Yertle. I'm also planning to cut over the rankings table to default to Board Championship view and also change the home page top players list to reflect this. I think this should be the emphasis not just ranking points, agreed?

Sounds good to me, I like the Championship Points slightly more than the Global Ranking, since you have to play multiple maps (or eventually you will) to be at the top of that list. I do like that you can be at the top of other lists as well (Games Players/Won/%) even if not the leader of the two big ones.

Eventually it would be cool to see something similar for Board Designers/Boards, such as Released Boards (as long as that means something), and somehow number of Public games played on the Board(s), etc.

Stats are fun, and IMO help give people (at least me) goals, which results in more games, which results in more time on the site, which results in more $$$, which results in buying a small country.

Sort of a bump, but also the addition of Sorting on Profile >> Player Stats >> Board Win Ratios table.

And to add Eliminations to the Ranking scores and Sort by that.

I usually let asm eliminate everyone else and then take him out. :)

The Points column sorts by the first number and not the whole number.  So 6 is above 12 and etc.

Theres nothing that indicates which column is being used for sorting.

The column being used has a single Up or Down arrow, where as all others have both an Up and Down arrow.  Wouldn't hurt to highlight it or something though.

I see nothing in IE8.

And actually I also see nothing when sorting columns in the forum. Is it possible that they are actually there but they are not high enough contrast to show up on my crappy dell monitor here at work?

i think i saw sorting arrows on the player stats per board page (if thats what we're talking about) on IE8 at work (same work as morbo). tho no indication which one i had clicked. i'm in work mode tho

dang i forgot to check at home. I just noticed that the arrows on player stats pages show up for me. I noticed that its the only table that i have seen that doesnt have the grey gradient in the title row. The title row is just white. Maybe the gradient is covering up the arrows.
