This gets progressively worse the longer I'm on the site to the point where it becomes unbearable...any ideas?  I just started getting these in the last week or so.

I get it quite often - only on my work laptop though.

Well, for me, it is a popup box. I have to click 'Ok' in order to continue (I can also 'x' out of the box). Sometime, though, the box continues to popup and I'm forced to control-alt-delete and close down my browser. I only get this on my work laptop and only on this website. I'm using Windows XP and IE 7, in case that makes a difference.

I should have a fix for this within the next 24 hours.

i remember ther being MANY issues with IE7, i ended up forcing IE8 at my work and home in order to get this place to play right. :)

This should be fixed now. Unfortunately the fix requires disabling the turn notifications completely for IE7 as it seems some of the third party code does not work properly on this browser. I'll pursue this separately via the third party but for now this is something to be aware of.

Lol...thanks.  I got a few popups right after I typed the message above, but it was nothing like as bothersome as it had been.  Not getting the popups at all now.  In any event, probably time for me to update the browser (atleast on my home pc).
