First vote!!!
1) There Will Be Blood - A masterpiece. Plain and simple.
2) Frontierland - Only reason it wasn't a tie for first with TWBB is that the end-game needs some tweaks to avoid stalemates (which Raptor is working on fixing), but the graphics are top 5, and the gameplay is amazing.
3) Gunslinger - Fantastic graphics, and (in my mind) rallying for the best 1v1 Risk style board on this site.
My votes:
1) Gunslinger - the addition of the "Sequel" broke the tie for me between this and my #2.
2) Frontierland Shootin' Arcade
3) Remember
1. There Will Be Blood
2. Gunslinger
3. Frontierland Shootin' Arcade
1. There Will Be Blood
2. Remember
3. Frontierland Shootin' Arcade
1. There Will be Blood
2. Gunslinger
3. Frontierland Shootin' Arcade
1. Gunslinger - great dual map, now with multiple scenarios has endless opportunity for fun
2. Frontierland Shootin' Arcade - exactly how i envisioned my own creation to be if i could have pulled it off.
3. Deadwood - great 'feel' in the graphics and good take on how street/building system can work
4. Remember - amazing look, if only could figure a way for turn-based scenario i might actually play the hell out of it.
5. There will be Blood - my least fav (sorry ozy), tho i can see the appeal to a few, just didn't take with me.
1) There will be blood
2) Remember
3) Deadwood
1) There will be blood - I'm not 100% happy with this yet. I thought players would be draining oil wells more often, but that doesn't seem to happen. Part of that might be inexperience on the part of new players - I know it is a fairly complicated map. I might make some changes down the road when I have a chance to review some of the games, and once the history works again. That said, it's still the most fun of the Western maps for me to play (not surprising, I know what I like and design my maps for what I think is fun).
2) Deadwood - Fairly simple, but gameplay is great. Graphics look sharp. Theme is fantastic. All around a fairly easy to pickup board, but has lots of replay and is tons of fun.
3) Gunslinger - I'm not a huge fan of duel maps, but this one is fun. My one complaint is that the initial luck (i.e. who gets their first two bullets first) seems to have a bit too much influence. The "sequel" looks like it will help with this and I think will be even more fun to play than the original.
Honorable Mentions:
Remember - This seems like a great map, but I'm probably not qualified to judge. I played a couple games of it, but it just never seemed to click. I "understand" how simulgear works, but it never seems to click for me. I plan on giving it a couple more tries to see if I eventually figure it out.
Frontierland Shootin' Arcade - Gorgeous map. Great idea and a fun theme. Again this one just never clicked for me. It felt more like a guessing game than something that I could apply strategy to. Again, probably the fault lies with me and not the map.
1. There Will Be Blood
2. Gunslinger
3. Frontierland Shootin Arcade
1. There will be blood
2. Gunslinger
3. Frontier shootin' arcade
