    I was wondering if anyone is an active member of this site? I think it would be good to post about the mapmaking competition. I'll do it myself it not, however it's always useful to have someone with good standing in the community posting.

    I posted about cartographersguild before, IIRC one person said they were a member but not active (can't remember who that was though).

    I'll post something to some relevant reddits about the map making contest (maps.reddit.com  & mapmaking.reddit.com)

    I doubt that I will be able to be "active" but it looks like a great site for some of the things I want to do.

    It should be possible to play WG boards in real-time ..without the wait, regardless of how many are playing.

    I wonder if it might be better to wait until we are voting on the theme of the next competition.  A 'Dr. Seuss' theme might not appeal to cartographers.
