What does everyone think about giving board authors the ability to leave a comm in any game being played on one of their boards? Definitely have it highlighted in a different color somehow, make sure it's clearly an administrative communication and not something in game.
There were plenty of times in the old world when I would have found it useful, and after the recent Gotham debacle, I think it would have helped. On the other hand, its putting a fair amount of power and trust in people, and, well, this is the internet after all. I wouldn't want people abusing it. Perhaps the benefits of being able to help explain to a gamer a rule they aren't understanding and are outwardly frustrated by, or to update folks on a fix to missing borders isn't worth the risk. There are always PM's, after all...
YES! DO IT!
Also let me personally put a message in any game anywhere ever.
And let me comment on peoples' profiles even if I've never played a game with them.
Yes fair enough - added to my ToDo list. Will be for Public games only.
And you can already comment on anyone's profile page asm :)
I know. =/
But until you implement the ability for any player to review a board, there's no reason for me to go hunting people down.
