Maybe this is a common problem but I figured I'd ask. I am trying to invite new people to a game. I typed in their full email address and hit Invite. Then when I went to create the game it came up with an error in red next to the new names, each saying [email protected] is not a valid email address.

What's the deal with that? Am I doing something wrong?

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong here, but fairly certain a person must join and create an account before you can invite them to a game. When the field asks for email, it actually means "The email address associated with that player's account."

This should work fine - I just tested it using Firefox and it works properly as far as I can tell. They should get an invite to join WarGear and once they sign up they will be able to join the game with their new login.

Are you adding players from the Create Game page or is this for games that you have already created (i.e. you are adding extra players)?

Also which browser are you using?

Having the same issue again except now it also has this other error:

billparker3@... is not a valid email address

No match found for TheGreatestR... in database
Player TheGreatestR... does not have an active account

(even though I just played a game against said player)

Ive run into this sometimes when I invite new players (from the list on the Forum tab) to private games

Can you try refreshing (F5) the page and trying again?

I am having both of these issues.  I am trying to invite friends who currently play WF.  On the first one, I put in his exact e-mail address and it failed saying the email wasn't valid.  On the second one, this guy created a username months ago, but never stuck with it.  I sent invite to his e-mail address and it says to use his username.  I sent the invite to his username and it said he didn't have an active account.  I am using IE8 browser.  What can I do to get these people invites?

Is this on the Create Game or Join Game page?
