Love this map. I just wish I had better luck on the rolling of the dice. With the ability to go back and forth between all phases it really adds up when you can strategize. I wouldn't change a thing on this map.

Love hordes! Love the low card turn-ins that actually can matter if you plan them right. Love the board.

This is the quintessential Hordes! map. If you played a large, geographical-themed board and it didn't end in a card-busted stalemate, this is board is why. Be thankful.

Fun theme and the gameplay that nearly every map designer has copied! Graphics are excellent (very nice visuals of sea borders that stay within the map theme) and layout/bonuses/rules all work excellently together! Perfect 10 board!

The map that started the "Infection" of Hordes! bonuses on Wargear (see what I did there?). It's great and the original still uses the concept the best. Sure, the dice hate me all the time on this map, but that's not the map's fault.
Did you hear that people...you losing is not always the maps fault!
I must say, that I did enjoy some of the other theme ideas we had kicked around before you released this. I really think you should release an STD version of the map, but that's just me.

This is a very nice board. The borders are well defined, and the hordes bonus structure is a nice diversion from the classic Risk style of scoring. At first the angle of view and cartographic choice has a nice striking feel to it, but this stretched-out look wears a bit thin with play. I really want to give it an 8.5.

Good twist on basic gameplay with the horde rule. Recent updates have made it easier to see neighboring territories, though occassionally in crowded areas like Scandanavia it may still be a small issue. Overall, it's one of my top 3 favorite maps. Plays well in both small and large groups in both ffa and team modes.

Excellent graphics and classic hordes game play. Be sure to consolidate some bonuses, but be careful not to spread yourself too thin or become such a threat that the other players band together to take you down. This board is well-balanced, so you can win from just about any corner - Europe, Australia, Africa, S. America, wherever really. Timing, diplomacy, and patience will all be tested in this classic map by Cramchakle.
