Board Description

Disease is spreading. Plague. Pestilence. Worse. Even the syphilis has herpes. The question is no longer when will the earth be consumed. Rather, the only question left to ponder is which virus might infect all others.

Players receive a bonus army for each territory they infect that is surrounded only by territories that they have also infected (Hordes! bonus).

You may spread your disease short distances overseas. Such borders are represented by the grayish plague-cloud spanning bodies of water where attacks are possible.

Other Rules:

  • Players may switch at will between placement, attack, and fortify.
  • Players are allowed 3 transfers per turn.
  • No per-territory bonus.
  • You may hold up to 7 cards before you are forced to turn them in.
  • Eliminations are awarded with a 10 unit elimination bonus and card capture.
